I made this collection of YES slow tunes. Very nice listening. I know that 80's YES are mixing. Any suggestions to add

From the top of my head: Madrigal, White Car, From The Balcony.
(allthough the latter's not very good, IMO)

Tracks 8 to 12 (inc.) are as good as it gets on this list IMO.
Nice selection though.
Agree with Caesar's Palace...Madrigal is a notable omission.
Would also have included the sublime TOTC,myself.

I would add in the last 7+ minutes of Gates of Delirium...i.e., the unedited version of "Soon." IMHO, the most achingly beautiful slow song Yes ever did.

I'm a little confused... are you asking for Yes LOVE songs or Yes SLOW songs? They are not one and the same.

If you were looking for "I love you, do you love me too?", then there's slim pickings in the main Yes catalog. You'd have better luck with the Jon & Vangelis and Jon solo catalog.

If you were looking for some relatively slow tempo songs that you can chill to after a stressful day, here's a couple:

Shoot High Aim Low
Final Eyes
Holy Lamb
And You and I
White Car
Run Through the Light
Turn of the Century
Wonderous Stories
Montreux Theme
Vevey
Amazing Grace
To Be Over
Soon
Days
Leaves of Green (excerpt from "The Ancient")
I Am Waiting (but edit out the middle)
Where Will You Be
Everydays (but edit out the middle)
Madrigal
Onward
Survival
Perpetual Change
It Can Happen
Hearts

While I disagree with a few of those (Perpetual Change?), I'd add:
Let's Pretend
The Meeting
Quartet
Long Distance Runaround
Mood For a Day
Vevey revisited
Children of Light
Nine Voices
Can You Imagine
Masquerade
Take the Water to the Mountain
Angkor Wat

Good choices!

I chose "Perpetual Change" because it is a slow-tempo song (starting at 00:52). It just has a few jagged parts, like the intro and the instrumental, which might need trimming, if one was looking for a "chill-out Yes mixtape".

It is kind of interesting to notice that Yes has several songs with loud, jarring instrumental passages, embedded inside tranquil, peaceful and calm songs.

Does "Dear Father" count as a slow song? And "Heart of the Sunrise (starting at 3:26)?

My criteria was "songs that my wife can tolerate" so I pretty much discounted any songs that have any "jagged" (rowdy?) sections. That eliminates HotS, but Dear Father might work in the list!

To be fair, my wife doesn't mind the rowdier songs (Going for the One for example), it's the tempo changes mid-song that she doesn't like. I have no problem with it at all - especially in the longer songs where different sections reprise themselves.

Great idea!
I'd suggest adding Madrigal and Turn Of The Century.
