Just wondering: What is that sound on I'm Running (my favourite
Yes West track)? It appears around 2:49 sounding like "Ahaaaa!".
Is it a voice, or some rhythmic instrument, or a sampled sound?
Does anybody know?

Is it that cartoony sound? (I haven't checked the time identified.) It's like a sped-up Donald Duck quack or something. I've always enjoyed that. My guess is that it's from a sort of whistle, not unlike a New Year's cardboard "trumpet", but creatively blown to get that "ah HA" effect.

Sounds like a toy duck to me.

Always hated the drum sound on this album. Don't know if it was the production or the kit White was using at the time, but ... yeuch. (Not trying to take the thread in another direction - just thought I'd mention it.)
