I don't know if this is a good place to put this request thread, but I'm looking for something very dear to me.

In 1991 I went to YesFest in Philly. My pictures of the event are hazy at best and the banner I painted was hung behind the band at the hotel convention room. If anyone has pictures of the event, I'd love to see them and get copies. It's one of my favorite memories and sadly one of my worst photography moments. :(

Peace. Love.

My photos aren't pro-quality, but they're something. I remember this day very well; it was my first Yesfest. I took the bus from Jersey, met a friend out there, then we got tickets to see them at the Spectrum. Fun time!

Yeah, it was a crazy weekend for me too. I remember I was working 2nd shift at the time and me and my buddy left after work that Friday night, drove all night from Cleveland and went straight to the convention. We were a wreck, but wow did we have fun! It's one of my best Yes memories ever. The shows, the people, the band. I just really, really enjoyed it. I'd really like to see another one.

Thanks so much for sharing you pictures. I really appreciate it!

Peace. Love.

I have a few from Yestival in 98 if anyone's interested, but I was not at the 91 Fest.

It really is about time for another YesFest or YesCon or whatever they want to call it. My hope is that it happens as part of an all day event where different current and legacy members of Yes have booths and shows for their particular product. Imagine visiting the 'Circa: pavilion' where Tony Kaye is demonstrating the proper use of a legacy B-3 in conjuction with Leslie cabinets and why you never see one anymore...

...or Trevor Rabin has a class on film scoring...

...or Trevor Horn speaks about production on 90125...

There would be Yes related bands on stage all day long with breaks for meals and rest stops. 40 minute sets on different stages so that those that want to hear live music all day can.
But give fans a choice of seeing that particular band or hearing a speaker or seeing a demo of a signature guitar.

one can dream...

That's a nice dream! Can we throw in an art demo by Roger Dean? That would round out the day perfectly! Maybe we should plan this event, eh? I'm ready for another Fest!

I used to have some of it on an 8mm videotape, haven't seen it in years though. I'll look around and see if i can find it.

I remember the Rick and Tony keys jam: very brief, but I was right in front so I didn't care. And Chris was there, so to be so close to him was the best (I've gotten closer since then).

Did it have a Yellow background and Dean's Yes logo on it?

Some signatures were noticeable.

If so I think we're in luck.

Yep! That's the one!!!! Yay!!!! I'm so excited! I remember spending a few days painting that banner with my best buddy! There was (and still is) seven of the eight band members signatures on it by the time I finished seeing the shows that tour. It went to eight shows all together and got taken under the stage in Chicago by the stage crew who demanded the band sign it. Thanks stage crew! The only missing signature is Squire who did manage to step on it, so I guess that counts! LOL. I've been debating on taking it with me to have him sign it this time around!

Thanks again! I'll be watcging the mail!

Peace. Love.
