This 2 CD set is tremendous. Early live YES from BBC recordings and it CRANKS. I find myself reaching for this album more than any other in the past few years. It's Jon, Chris, Bruford, Banks, and Kaye.....Classic lineup ? :) Original lineup, and a good one.

Highlights for me are:

Looking Around
Then
Dear Father
Sweet Dreams
Astral Tarveler

It gets a lot of play from me to as well, though I'm partial to Something's Coming, For Everyone, and No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed.

This is a bit off the mark, but..............I have my original 90125 cd from 1983, it still plays great and has no issues. It's quite a bit thicker than most of my other cds. Some of my later puchased Cds had to be repurchased due to them wearing out, like records, I guess it's all part of that progress thing.

I love those BBC recordings. The quality could be better, but the performances are outstanding. Peter Banks could tear it up!

The sessions are not equally well recorded but what a great piece of history! A bootleg was kicking around for a long time before this CD (and YesYears and TWIL) was released:

Looking Around
Everydays
Sweet Dreams
Then

Dear Father has a very special meaning for me. checkout www.sugarmegs.org for some of the earliest live recordings. This is the holy grail!!!!
