Hi All!

As Tales was the very first Yes album I bought (back in 1973 or 1974, so long ago but not so clear any more...), I am particularly fond of it and I have a special love for it.

I would like to ask everybody which is in your opinion the best live version of it available (through torrents or directly from the fans) and if there are studio or live versions with significant changes or modifications which are worth listening to, even if the audio quality is not superb.

Naive questions, but here in Italy I have not a lot of chances of getting alternate verisons, bootlegs, rare live recordings of Yes and thsi is the only way I can find out interesting things about the band and specific albums/songs.

Thanks to all for help and suggestions: looking forward to enjoying new discoveries in the Topographic Oceans!

I've got the Cobo Hall recording which I believe is generally thought to be (one of) the best from the Tales tour.

Have you tried the Trading Room?

Thanks for the indication: I will look for this one.

i will try the trading room, although mailing CD's from USA to Italy is not really the best thing to do: I'd rather download a torrent if possible.

Thanks again and ciao

In addition to the Madison Square Garden (NYC) show mentioned in the other thread, yes, Detroit Cobo Hall is really good too!!!

Roberto- I wish I did. Believe it or not, I've not yet joined the torrent revolution. I've had copies of these shows for a long time.

Please, if anyone can put up a link....help a brother out! :D
