I was lucky enough to get a copy of a bootleg containing the 4 video clips from "Time & a Word": (No Oportunity, Then, Everydays, & Astrall Travler) plus some other complete clips that appeared in the Yesyears video, like the video clip of America, On the Silent Wings..., and more, but there is a question I've had for years and years in relation to some these Yesyears footage.
WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND THOSE "SOLO" VIDEO CLIPS?
(RAM / BEGGININGS / HOLD OUT YOUR HAND & SILLY WOMAN)
where they made for a special tv show, or ... does anybody know if these or part of them are available in bootlegs. Any info or story will be very intresting to read.

I'm pretty sure most of that was from Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. Some bands provided "live in the studio" type clips, like the old Van Halen DKRC clips. I'm 95% sure those videos were from DKRC.

I was looking on the Steve Howe web site a little while back and found that he is searching for a master reel of the Ram, Beginnings, etc. stuff from anyone who has a master reel. He said he has videotape of this footage, but "is not of the quality to be released". I think he wants to officially release the Beginnings promo footage. That would be excellent!! Also, I'm sure there are people with bootleg videos of the solo stuff, but you have to find the right person. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of any of it.

Now, that is strange, I mean, if Atlantic could find this footage in exelent conditions for the Yesyears video why can't Steve.

Anyways, thanks to you both for the info :)
