I'm curious what YES goodies people have in their collections. I have a decent collection, although I'm sure humble compared to a lot of fans items Let me start by some of my personal items:
1) A complete set of 5 b&w "Going for the One" promo glossy's (one signed by Alan White)
2) The following Tour Books:
- 1973 UK Tales From Topographic Oceans
- 1975 Relayer (red cover)
- 1976 Solos Tour
- 1977 Going For The One
- 1978 Tormato
- 1980 Drama
- 1984 90125
- 1991 Union
3) A 1978 Laminated Tour Pass
4) "The YES Album" limited edition gold album
Bring it on . . .

Well, the only thing I have signed by the "Classic Line up" that is complete is The Ultimate Yes poster that came with the 35th Anniversary CD.
i have a Talk Poster signed by everyone in the band at that time. Funniest thing about that one is that the band members names are pre-printed on the bottom of the poster and Billy's autograph was just him adding in Sharpie.."& Billy Sherwood"..:lmao:
I have a few partially signed (usually missing Jon and Steve's sig) items.
Lots and lots of posters ..a few of them still need framing.
Most of my tour programs dating all the way back to '75 were lost when my brother "accidentally" threw away one of my boxes of Yes memorabilia on a move.
A pair of sticks from Alan
Personally and very affectionately signed Circa: and Billy Sherwood items, including Stuff from Michael Sherwood
Probably the rarest item I have is an autographed copy of the Lodgic LP..thanks Billy (William) hehehe, Michael and Jimmy!!

It was a surprise, I'll tell you that---and an old Yes buddy of ours (the fabulous Tami Freed) helped make it all possible, along with a bunch of the other AOL Yesboarders.

I have a photo of Jon and myself when I ran into him in our hotel lobby in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I got him to sign it a few years back.
I have Yes 35th Anniversary tour book signed by the entire classic line up and Roger Dean.
I have a signed Circa: DVD that Billy signed. It even has a "typo" on it.
I have a signed drumstick used by Alan during a Circa: show.

I should have mentioned that I have signed posters from Alan White & Bill Bruford. My photos with each drummer are real important to me. I brought them both to my drum shop for clinics. Although not really "memorabilia", my dinner with Bill Bruford was very memorable!!! Both guys were great!

My rarest piece of Yes memorabilia is Alan's kick drum head from the 1997 fall OYE tour. I was in Manchester, UK when they were rehearsing for the 1998 winter OYE tour (with Adam Wakeman for a day!). I passed a trash can and found it in there, lol! Some people's trash is my treasure ;-). I also found a set of Billy's used guitar strings from his 12 string guitar in the same can, hehe! Not a bad bit of garbage picking!!! Alan signed the drum head for me. I'll take a picture of it when I get a chance and post it...
I also have a set of Steve's guitar strings from his GibsonES-175, a set of Chris' strings from his 4001 Rickenbacker, a few Alan White drumsticks (not as many as Mike C & Joey, LOL) and one of Bill Bruford's ABWH tour drumsticks.

Ok , here goes.
I have a fully signed Japanese Yessongs lp Cardboard style cd set.
This I had signed by Rick , Jon , Chris , Steve and Alan.
This lady approached me as I was leaving this hotel the band were staying at .She said to me I hope you are not putting that on Ebay.I thought shes nuts , Why would I come all the way from New Zealand get something like this signed then sell it.Its very special to me.Chris turned up a lot later after the concert,my flight was leaving 5 hours later .Sell it?I think not.
I have a 1973 UK Tales programme which is pristine.
I have a 1975 Red Cover Relayer programme.
Open Your Eyes Tour book.
Homeworld Tour book.
2003 Full Circle tour book
2004
A programme from the Keys to Ascension tour 1996
(never seen one on ebay)
The morning after newspaper for the Keys concert.
Jons last tour signed flyer , also signed by Rick.
Tour poster from around the world for the 2003 Full Circle tour
A mint Yessongs movie poster.Numerous signed Roger Dean gear.
My ex just never coped with all this coming in the mail.
I actualy can say I bought a copy a few years back to see Glen and Doug Gottliebs collection in it.
The Gottliebs mentioned to me at one point they were going to do a coffee table size book on Yes collections from round the world.
One of my biggest items is a very large bristish subway poster for the Keys to Ascension 1 album.
This is massive , I love Arches 1 , the artwork created by Roger Dean for the Keys One album

1. My Trevor Rabin autographed Westone chrome yellow guitar that was originally given as prize by a Chicago radio station in conjunction with a Yes tour in the 80s. This guitar is still as shipped from the factory - (ie. not set up/adjusted) and has not been played. Trevor autographed the guitar in black marker.
2. Full band score songbook for Big Generator with full instrumention transcription.

That would have to be my T-shirt from the 1976 solo albums tour; the oldest T in my collection of concert T's. It's down to the point where I don't dare wear it anymore, of course...and I'm trying to find someone of an artistic nature to take the front of the shirt, mount it onto canvas, and create some surrealistic work of art with it. No luck yet.

I'll have to think what I have that is RARE?
I just have a few hundred run of the mill autographed stuff.
I was hoping for Chris to come to my house last week when they were supposed to be in NYC, and I had a place on my wall in the studio all set for him to sign. LOL
Instead I had Jon..ahhhh..Malcolm sign it.

for some of you it's nothing special...but for me it has a big place in my heart.
The recordings of Rick's Place from:
the 4th of November 2006 (my 18th Birthday and how Rick wishes me a great day)
the 7th of July 2007 (Rick tells his audience how much he loves my cartoons)
3th of November 2007 (one day before my 19th Birthday)
8th and 15th of March 2008 (he talks about my End of Rick's Place comic)
also my holy autograph I've got from him to my 19th Birthday and all my posters in my room.

Not rare at all, I'm afraid, but I did keep the ticket stub from my one and only attendance at a Yes concert - Saturday, June 19th, 2004, at the Manchester MEN Arena.
Also got the bootleg of the entire concert - and it's a doozy! :D

Mine could be a tambourine that a friend gave me when he found out I was a big Yes fan. He claims it was tossed to him by Jon back in the 1970's at the end of a show in Charlotte NC. I have no reason to doubt this guy, and I've seen pics of Jon holding the exact type, so I believe it to be the real thing. But does anyone know if Jon used to do this? I can't recall ever seeing him toss anything off stage.

For the Masterworks Tour in 2000, I got third row center seats for Columbus, Ohio show ($35 each!!!), and my best friend and I drove from NYC. We hung out after the show and got into the "aftershow," where I got a crayon drawing that I had done of the band autographed by Igor, Chris, Alan and Jon. I got Steve to sign it after his solo show at The Bottom Line in NYC two months later, and Rick added his signature to Igor's (Rick's sig. not in the attached photo) after his hilarious 'Other Side of Rick Wakeman' show at Westbury Music Fair in 2004 (I think). If my house were on fire, this drawing would be the thing I'd run into the house to rescue.
For those interested, the very long story of meeting the band is here in NFTE, under the title, "What I did for Summer Vacation, or Hello, Columbus': http://nfte.org/back-issues/0239
I cannot attach it to this post, but I attended Jon's 'Tour of the Universe' solo show at BB King's in NYC. Before the show started, there was an empty guitar case on stage and a sign inviting the audience to write down questions for Jon to answer during the show, and leave them in the guitar case; so I did. I was disappointed when Jon answered some questions during the show and mine was not read. But during the encore, Jon's wife Jane joined him onstage and read more questions for him to answer, including mine: "Jon, I first saw Yes on the 'Tales' tour when I was 17. Today is my 47th birthday. Would you wish—or sing — 'Happy Birthday' to me?" Jon did indeed sing 'Happy Birthday' to me, including my name. I was sitting 4th row center and stood up as Jon sang, as goosebumps traveled the length, width and height of my body. Some time after the show I tracked down a recording by posting on NFTE, and made a great YesFriend in the process.
If anyone would like to hear an mp3 of the event, drop an email to dgreenb1@optonline.net, and I'll send it.
These two mementos are so valuable to me because they are so personal— the band members signing my drawing (of them!), and Jon, the voice you hear singing "Roundabout" on the radio, that same singing voice, singing to me. Or as my friend who went to Columbus with me said, "The great thing about meeting the band was that we idolize them for years, but for just a moment, they knew we were alive."

 My signed and numbered Roger Dean Relayer print with Jon's autograph -- hangs over the sofa in my living room... it is gorgeous! It was given to me for Christmas 2006 by my daughter and her husband! I will try to put a picture up of it whenever I can figure out how to do it (I'm not very computer-savy!)
 My autographed concert books from Jon, Chris, Steve and Rick from their last two concerts. At last I was privileged to meet my heros both times! The only sad thing is I didn't get to meet Alan! Maybe some happy day in the future...
 My first YES authorised biography copyrighted 1981 by Dan Hedges. There are some great pictures in there I've never seen anywhere else.
 Don't know if this counts, but my CIRCA cd personally autographed by all the members of the band!
 ALL of my YES concert books from all the YES concerts I have attended dating back to 1973.

I did a double take and almost fell out of my seat when I saw Jon's inscription for Tasia and Matt. My writing looks exactly like that right down to the eight pointed asterik that is part of my signature !! The only difference was in the curly back thing on the "g".

the dan hedges book - perfect condition, 19 years in the finding, not for sale or trade.
posters - official atlantic records promos for drama and yesshows, and a moraz era panorama (i think sold at concerts) of the band members' faces "morphing" into one another. conditions vary, but all are displayable. got 'em at yescon '85 for like, 5 bucks each.
90125 bandana - no idea how this ended up in my collection.
rainbow sparkle dean logo iron on - that reminds me, gotta get a quality long sleeve tee for this.
a jon anderson trading card - abwh era photo on front, vitals on back. bubble gum not included.

I got that too recently via Amazon uk., hardcover, used, but in perfect condition and very cheap too - 25 € including postage. Great book.
At the moment i'm trying to find "9012 Live - Solos" for a reasonable price, but people are asking ridicolous sums for a used CD. Why i didn't buy it when it could be found in any record store shelv mid-price? Why didn't i pay 25 € for a japanese remastered copy a few years ago? Now i would have to pay something like 80 € for it. No, i won't.
Same goes for Wakeman's autobiography "Say Yes!", some seller in Amazon asked hundreds of dollars for a used paperback... I'll wait for "Grumpy Old Rockstar".
It's funny, that official releases such as those are "rare" these days...
