I heard "I've Seen All Good People" while watching the movie "Dick" the other night (starring Kirsten Dunst) and was wondering how many other films there were that featured Yes music.

Wasn't there one where some guy was listening to "Owner" and they decided that meant he was gay?
I'm sure that was discussed here a while back.

I think that was the Jenifer Aniston/Vince Vaughn movie The Break-Up, although I've never seen it.
There was an Asia song in the 40-Year Old Virgin. I think it was Only Time Will Tell, but it might've been Heat of the Moment.
There was also, recently a Cadillac commercial where Wondrous Stories and Yes were the main theme of the commercial.

Yes, it was The Break-Up, and it was more in the way that he sang it than the actual song that made the character seem gay.
What about Jon's solo stuff? Metropolis and Legend come to mind.
The movie, Big Fish, ran ads with a Yes track, but it was nowhere in the movie :(

Weren't there strains of 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' in Sergei Eisenstein's 1925 silent classic, The Battleship Potemkin?

Yeah that's the movie I was trying to think of.
They played a small part of Your Move/ISAGP in the trailer.

I have to say I often struggle to name Yes tracks when I hear them - I always know the tune, and even snippets and refrains, but rarely the name of the song.

I have to go back and watch School Of Rock (there were so many songs, obviously, being a film about rock).

The finishing credits of a Tom Cruise film (dont know which one?) has Jon Anderson signing some solo peice of music. I'm sure someone here can shed more light...
"Buffalo 66" featured Heart Of The Sunrise.
"Biggles" featured a song sung by Jon Anderson.
"The Break Up" has a very very funny scene which revolves around the song Owner Of A Lonely Heart. That scene is worth watching purely for the Yes content. Here is a snipet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6y3VZluUMY&feature=related
"Almost Famous" featured I've Seen All Good People.
"40 Year Old Virgin" featured Heat Of The Moment. The "Virgin" also has a large framed Roger Dean Asia poster hanging prominently on his wall and his friends slag him becuase of it.
Anymore?

After a bit of digging here is the scene here.......sorry for the poor quality...

"Mr. Deeds" features the "Give Peace A Chance" section from "Your Move" as a plane lands.
Jon & Vangelis' "State of Independence", (later
covered by Donna Summer), was used at the end of
Single White Female, (renamed "Spiritual High" for
some reason), sang by Chrissie Hind.

Legend... it was near the end of the movie, but not closing credits... that was sung by Bryan Ferry...
also Cry For Help, Metropolis and St. Elmo's Fire...
"Buffalo 66" featured Heart Of The Sunrise.
also Sweetness, during the closing credits...

Didnt St Elmo's Fire have Jon Anderson singing with some other personage in it at one stage? I seem to recall the credits at the end pointing towards this when I watched it years ago but failed to follow up the info. Anyone??

Jon's song is in the background of the party scene, where Demi Moore is dancing around sans underwear... it's nothing spectacular, really... the song, I mean the song, people... very generic 80s stuff... and why not? it's another David Foster "masterpiece"
