Took the editing suggestion from the other thread in this forum to the extreme. Had to make some tough decisions and tried to retain the essence of musicality of the original songs, but hopefully without too many rough cuts. Also decided to make a couple of singles. Renamed the tracks in the spirit of chopping up the songs.

That is the link. Ignore the site's advertising. It's a free place to upload and download humongous files, so you have to put up with the extraneous stuff. The songs are bundled in a zip file and it's a little over 40 MB.

As an aside to this, I quote Steve Howe from 1973/74

'We did a lot of music we didn't use on the finished album. If we'd kept it on it would all have meant another albu,m really. But we thought that wasn't practical. We just tried to be selective.'

So we actually got the edited version of Tales anyway LOL!

But that quote suggests that there was a lot of left over material - presumably not just the alternative takes that was on the Rhino remaster.

Now what would I give to hear that........
