Well someone had their request for Lodgic on CD answered within a few minutes.

Anyone else like to help a Belfast, Northern Ireland based Billy Sherwood fan get the last major piece for his Sherwood "jigsaw" ??????

Hi Geoff,

I was the one who started the thread. It was actually for someone to simply burn the LP on to a CD for me.

I am not sure what the rules are on trading the Lodgic album once I have it transfered. I do know it is out of print, and as soon as Billy's schedule slows down a bit I will ask him what he thinks of "weeding" the Lodgic CD. I can't make any promises AT ALL, becaue I definitely do not want to step on any toes..especially The Sherwoods who were nice enough to give me a copy of the LP.

Yeah, with Billy's approval it'd be great if the album could spread a bit among us. Unless there's any chance to get it reissued...

That sounds fine to me.

To be honest I was not sure whether it was ever put our on CD which I probably should have said. It would be great if Billy would consider this and allow us to pass the CD around but I also understand that by doing so it is giving approval to an area that potentially robs musicians of income.

On the other hand, if the item is not actually in print and therefore cannot be bought, I guess it doesn't rob anyone of anything except potential income from a future release.

But let's not get into all that !

It wasn't released on CD and last time someone asked Billy, I believe he said a re-release was unlikely to ever occur.

I picked up the Lodgic Nomadic Sands CD on ebay last week - it is a re-release dated 1985/2007 by Time Warp Records, Made in Italy (which tells me nothing about the label's home country or whether it's legit.)

Billy, care to comment on this?

The vinyl is also currently for sale at e-bay:

Oh, Carol, you lucky duck!
I'm desperate to finally get to listen to this lost treasure, but still without luck... Honestly, at this point I don't even care if it's legit or not (which I seriously doubt, for the record).

I see there are no other CD copies at eBay right now.
Could you possibly at least give away the name of the seller, so maybe I can ask him if he doesn't happen to have some copies left or something....

Nitrus, I am indeed lucky in life, but when it comes to winning money, forget it!

Ebay is acting strange right now - it doesn't show the copy I got under a completed items search. I know there was more than one copy. I'll PM you with the seller's id...who, strangely enough, is in Las Vegas...

Thank you a million times and then some, Carol. Got your PM (as you probably can tell from my reply...:-D).

My guess would be that that was not legit.

I have no idea... After we left A & M records they went under a few years later. I'd imagine selling off a lot of catalog at the same time. We were most likely in a batch of other artists like hot house flowers and a few other bands from that era who got lost in the shuffle... Time warp records ??? I dunno lol.

Cheers, Billy
