It's not a Yes album for me, any more than Fish Out of Water, Conspiracy, etc. No ratings attempted.

Let's Pretend
Brother of Mine
Fist of Fire
I guess! It's tough because it's a pretty consistent album. I like all the tracks fairly evenly. I was lucky in that I embraced this album before I had biases and preconceptions of the band. It was one of the earliest Yes products that I became familiar with. It was also the newest product at the time, and I was excited about the prospect of the CTTE lineup recording new tunes. I'm still excited about it; ABWH is a dream come true in that regard.

Brother of Mine (I look at this as the HOTS or AYAI of the 1980's)
Themes
Order of the Universe
Birthright (This was particuarly good live and Steve really shines out on the studio version)
Fist of Fire (Rick's best playing on the album I think, some really wailing leads here)
Quartet (It's alright and the part where they namedrop old song and album titles I've always liked but overall I prefer the single version of I'm Alive. It'd be great to see a cd reissue of ABWH with I'm Alive and Vultures as bonus cuts.)
Let's Pretend (I tend to put this in a Yes folk trilogy along with Your Move and Nine Voices. If Jon comes back to Yes at any point this would make a good Jon and Steve duet.)
The Meeting (Decent but I prefer Rick's instrumental version you can see on the Roger Dean Views dvd.)
Teakbois (Would have liked this to have been a b-side and for Vultures to have made the album.)

That wouldn't be impossible to put together. You could use a program like Audacity to do it.

Well...the problem is....(And I just recently DL'd Audacity)....That my CD of ABWH is slightly damaged and my computer just wont rip it...(funny thing is it plays pretty well in most CD players, just a little skipping at the beginning of themes, but I guess it is where the damage is that prevents my computer from reading it..and....the only source I have of the I'm Alive single is on the ABWH Big Dream Video...I could get it done...but it would take alot of time & energy that I just don't have these days, unfortunately....

"Fist of Fire" is a particular favorite; there's a feel to that song that I can't describe that captures my imagination. The lyrics are very good. "Birthright" is exceptional, "Brother of Mine" has its moments, and "The Meeting" is another stunner. "Teakbois" is utterly disposable. I'm kind of indifferent towards "Order of the Universe" and "Themes". "Let's Pretend" is a gorgeous song.
It's not a perfect album, but it's packed with a lot of good material and playing.

1. Themes ....)
2. Birthright ..) (Love these three)
3. Fist of Fire )
4. Order of the Universe (Great opening 2-3 minutes, good rest of it)
5. Brother Of Mine (S'ok - never understood the Wonderlove for it)
6. Quartet (Like others, prefer the single of I'm Alive)
7. Let's Pretend (Pleasant enough ending to the album)
8. The Meeting (Gorgeous tune - hate the lyrics)
9. Teakbois (Ugh. Ack. Blech. Vomit. Heightened gag reflex. Bobby Dead To Me)
Put Vultures on instead of EEKbois and you've got a much better album.

I still think hearing squire attack "brother of mine" live would be fantastic, along with alan's more organic sound.

Yes, me too. First Yes-related album I bought (I believe I followed it up with Fragile) and I love it still. I'm not into ranking songs so I can't commit to putting a list together. Marvellous effort from the boys.
