I was quite shocked yesterday to see that the Virgin Megastore here in Vancouver, BC, Canada actually had this DVD in stock!! Like most of you North American fans, I was informed by Amazon.Com that this title would only be released here January 15th, 2008. Naturally, I pre-ordered this item right away.

But, when I saw it in the store yesterday, I bought it immediately. It's a fabulous compilation of great interviews with various Yesmen, both past and present.

The only unfortunate problem, however, is a huge technical one -- the sound is only on one channel! Perhaps THIS is the reason why the original North American release date was pushed back.

Have any other North American customers purchased this DVD yet, and if so, did you notice the same problem? Just curious.

In typical Gilda Radner/SNL fashion, let me just say regarding my previous post........"Never mind".

After a half hour of fiddling, I noticed that the connections at the back of my DVD player weren't as good as they could be. D-oh! Oh, well......

Now I can experience the Classic Artists DVD in all of its sonic (and visual) glory!

So, to all you Canadian Yes fans, why wait until mid-January to pick up this title? Just head down to your local HMV!

Yeah, I know.....idiocy reigns supreme! Well, at least there isn't anything wrong with that DVD. That really is a great product. For those other posters who were asking, this is the latest DVD in the Classic Artists series featuring the complete story of YES. A definite must-have for any fan.
