Hey there everybody,
I'm looking for a vhs tape of Jon Anderson's appearance on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect". I really don't have anything to trade, but would gladly pay for the price of a vhs tape. Anybody got a copy?

Oh I wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I never knew about this. If you find it, let me know okay? Have you contacted the network to see if they can help? Must have been a riot!

The network referred me to a private company that tapes shows and then sells copies to whoever wants them for an outrageous sum. If I find someone with a copy who wants to make more copies for us, I'll post it here.

Those bastards! I heard about this not to long after it was aired. I know there's some tapes out there somebody on the Alt.Music.Yes newsgroup said he taped it. Have you posted any messages there?
5 days to the San Diego show! :D

I wouldn't bother unless you want to collect every bit of Yes stuff out there. I happen to catch it thanks to NFTE, but was quite disappointed in Jon's participation. The reason was that the evening was dominated by Richard Belzer, so it was hard for anyone else to get a word in. The main topic was educating parents-about- to- be. Jon made the point that he wish he knew more about parenting when he started out but it was more a conversation of the legality of imposing education through laws. Although I was impressed that Phil Marr would have him on the show, there just isn't the chance in that format for anyone to say much. But tell me when Jon is on Charlie Rose, wouldn't that be a good interview? or better still Bill Moyers.

I watched that show when Jon was on it. You are not missing anything, trust me. He had LITTLE to say!

How about Dennis Miller Live!
Do you think there's a chance Yes would ever be on Leno?

After the Letterman fiasco, I doubt if you'll ever see Yes perform on that type of show ever again...although seeing them on Leno would be great.

What happened on the letterman show. I saw that show and do not remember a problem. Maybe they will do the NBC TODAY Friday concert!

As you may recall when they were on Letterman, they were cramped into a very small area on the stage, but from what I heard the real fiasco was off camera. Just prior to going on, they were told that due to time constraints, they had 3 and a half minutes to perform. That's not much time.

I taped the Politically Incorrect program that featured Jon Anderson as a guest. It was kind of disappointing because David Brenner wouldn't yield to the others and stole most of the time for his own private stand-up act. But Jon held his own when called upon to comment. Overall, unless your a die-hard and want to collect all YES related items, I would not recommend this show. But I will copy on a VHS tape for any YES fan out there that would like a copy for the cost of the tape and shipping. Just post your e-mail and I'll get in contact with you. ** On a more current note, I'm looking forward to the YES concert in Chicago, IL on August 8th. The recently posted setlist looks like a Masterworks Revisited Plus Tour with orchestra!!
