I puchased the HD-DVD, while it looks great, The entire video has been slowed down- musically it is one half step low. The HD runs 8 minutes longer then the regular DVD. I've emailed the company, but alas no responce. Maybe they are just.. slow

I'm glad this thread was revived. Wife gave me an HD DVD for xmas, then upon her own volition, informed me that this format will soon be a thing of the past. Blue Ray is the up and commencing technology. So I'm researching the Blue Ray tech at the moment. It's not without its drawbacks.

Blu Ray has won the day.

HD has gone the way of betamax.

Yup, that's right. Toshiba has now officially given up on HD-DVD.

Good thing I have a PS3.

Anyway, let's hope this doesn't apply to the Blu-Ray version...
