That's Arista 25th anniversary, 1990, Radio City Music Hall.
I'm getting ready to weed out the DVD when I find it LOL

Cool! Is that really Micheal Douglas that introduces them?

in '88 Jon (Yes) performed at Atlantic's 40th... in '90 he (ABWH) was at Arista's 25th, even though ABWH only did one album with the label... two if you count Union the next year...
as someone who watched all 4(?) hours of the Atlantic show, I'd always wondered if there was a video of the Arista thing... HBO ran the former, but not the latter...

It's really nice to see ABWH footage pro shot with Tony on bass and Bill on non-electric drums. They should have played all of Brother of Mine or Order of the Universe as those were pretty successful radio singles at the time.

The 'Brother of Mine' section was steller--should have played the whole thing.

I went to this show. It was an aids benefit called "That's What Friends are For". I'll have to dig out the program and scan a few pages.
The other performers were:
• Hall & Oats
• Whitney Houston - I'm glad I got to see her before her decline
• The 4 Tops
• Bob Weir & Bob Wasserman
• Air Supply
• Lauren Bacall
• Burt Bacharach
• Eric Carmen
• Taylor Dayne
• Expose
• Jennifer Holliday
• Alan Jackson
• Kenny G
• Melissa Manchester
• Barry Manilow
• Jermaine Jackson - he got caught lip-syncing LOL! He was standing about 15' from the mike when he started singing!! They had to start the song over again... so embarrassing!
• Jeffrey Osborne
• Milli Vanilli - The kings of lip-sync gave a flawless performance with a full tilt sprint from the back of the theater, down the right and left aisles meeting in the middle of the stage in a very high "high 5"!
• Patti Smith
• Lisa Stansfield
• Dionne Warwick
• Carly Simon - Had stage fright and wouldn't record her number in front of the audience. The host told us what the situation was and asked for us to please applaud for her so they could cut it in. Very cheesy!!
The hosts were:
• Chevy Chase
• Jane Curtin
• Michael Douglas
• Whoopi Goldberg
On my way out of the show, I picked up handfuls of script sheets that were tossed by the video editor. While reading these, I realized that there was nothing "off the cuff" for these great comedians. Everything was scripted. The writing wasn't very good. What a waste of talent!
I think I may have the whole broadcast somewhere in my video collection. I'll take a look for that too...
