View Full Version : Magnification DVD-Audio flaw? Should Yes find a different mfg? (not a review, by far)

As I write this, I am very upset with Tower Records after the 1/2 hour drive there and back. I didn't realize it until I got home, but the DVD-A of Magnification I took back and exchanged due to audible and operational flaws was exchanged for another one, but it was clear to see after opening that this DVD had been already used and returned by someone else and Tower had re-wrapped it! I was and still am very upset. :bash:
So I was wondering, before I go get my gun, if anyone else has same problem with the skips or breaks I call them, between the first two songs? I listened to the Advanced Resolution discrete 6 channel DVD-Audio mix. Also when I go to top menu, the screen is not functional once you get to the songlist, to select the song you want to hear. It must be the whole lot flawed I suppose, since the second DVD is flawed also. It seems Yes management should change to another company to make their DVD products since the Symphonic DVD was flawed also. I have no other flawed DVD Audio at all, by any other group. Sorry, I just don't really have anything much good to say, except I enjoyed the music very much, because of being upset right now. Thanks for your response.

Kingfish, I will pay closer attention for this, thanx. I do agree Yes needs someone else to manufacture their video and audio DVD'S. My biggest complaint is the DVD not having setting for 5.1 DTS, this album would sound awesome in DTS, although it does sound good in just 5.1.
