who are those people on olias?

I tried to tell my husband that Jon did all the vocals and instruments on "Olias of Sunhillow" but he wants to know who all those other people are on the cover. I only have the cd so it's too small to tell. :argue2:

There's a great question....I'm going to take a very wild guess and say one is Jon's former wife, another may be Vangelis, who I recall was given a thanks to in the original LP liner notes. I haven't seen this in full LP size since the 1980's, so I may be remembering wrong. I assume the others may either be friends and/or studio personel. I am just guessing really!

Perhaps Nightliner or Quantum may know?

I think you're right Rob. Always thought it was Jennifer Anderson (wow, just realized how much that sounds like Jennifer Aniston! :lol: ) I think Damien, Deborah and Jade are on it, and apparently they had a white fluffy sheepdog of some sort at the time.

Thank God someone else can't read the bloody thing either. I thought it was just me. Any clever clogs out there can scan a version of the cover we can actually read?

My husband also thinks one of them might be Patrick Moraz. ? The guy with the teeny little 'fro maybe?

Someday all will be revealed! Maybe Jon might one day see this and solve the mystery for us.

Kev, unless I'm mistaken I think the dog you're alluding is on the Song of Seven cover.

I'm at work right now, so I can't reference the original vinyl. As I remember, in the liners there's a drawing (by jennifer a?) of the Anderson clan, circa 1976, with Jon, Jen, Damien and Deb with the family pet. Jon was sporting a very chic goatee at the time, so hence the confusion? If the CD has other pics, I can't say; I dubbed my vinyl to CD a while ago. I was always given to understand that Jon did it all.

On the inside cover of the album, there is a drawing of Jon, wife and kids and the big fluffy dog. There also is a photo of Jon, his wife and others. I'm not sure who those others are.
