Browsing the web and came across a reference to a book:

"Yes - But what does it mean?" by Thomas J. Mosbo

http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/1831/expo-rdc.html

Anyone see this? How's the book?? I've written to that address out of curiousity!

i have an autographed copy of the book its really great.it has no pictures at all and is not really about the history of yes.

This book attempts to explain the meaning of the lyrics as well as the musical breakdown of every track pretty much. its fairl technical when speaking about the music but this guy is really insightfull on jon and his lyrics. its a thick book and covers a lot of stuff up until the union album. there is a whole chapter on tales and a chapter that explains in depth fish out of water and olias.

I learned a lot about Yes by reading this book. The book does mention every member in the band and why they were important as well as some history but that is not the focus of the book.

you should check it out you will be able to explain what the revealing science of god really means.

I am glad to say that I have just received a copy directly from Thomas and Coral. I thought the information on how to approach them was on this website, but I did a quick search and can't seem to find it. Weird.

...Pedantic at moments (the first 3rd of the book is the author's 'Divinity Thesis' for Goshsakes!), but a fine read.

A Christian work, more Bonhoffer than strict fundamentalist, which suits me fine.

Mosbo is erudite and heartful, he reaches out from the belly of the prog-beast unencumbered, and I would recommend 'YES- But What Does It Mean?' to any Yesfan.

Thumbs Up, with Brio!
