I think it is brilliant. It is in the top 10 YES member solo albums, in my opinion.

On the re-release Conspiracy CD (‘05) there are two bonus tracks. Comfortably Numb & The Big Peace.
When I first heard the song it didn’t strike me as anything overly special. I bought The Big Peace back in January of ‘06 and I now agree with you Mark however, I possibly rank it even higher than in my top 10. Possibly top 5 for me.

It's one of the best Yes-related releases ever. More progressive than a half of Yes stuff. Essential.

I just purchased this from Itunes over the Christmas Holiday and after about 4 or 5 listens I was hooked. Unlike a few, I am a huge fan of Billy's vocal stylings and bass playing.
My fav tracks so far..
Lesson To Be Learned (such a funky bassline for a white boy!! :lmao:) I really want to learn this one.
Call~I love this song!! I am still wondering if any of it is related to Fortune Seller..I should of asked him when I had the chance!
Watching The Rain and One Day
These are grabbing me right away and obviously the other tracks are great too but I caught these first...if that makes sense.
I need to track down No Comment!

Scooty, welcome to "The Big Peace" fan thread!
It is an awesome album. I played it for a good friend of mine recently who was a big YES fan in the 70's and he absolutely loves it. It needs to be heard by more people.

Geez . . I have the CD and haven't listened to it since I bought it. I will, and offer a reply thereafter. Not that my opinion will matter, but you know what I mean . . .

Just to help out a bit:
The song "The Big Peace" can be found on the Billy Sherwood Album titled The Big Peace along with:
Lesson To Be Learned
Self Made World
No one Really Knows
Walking With the Rain
One Day
Call
Clemency
as well as on ONE Release (yes there are 2 each with different bonus tracks) of the Conspiracy (Sherwood/Squire) CD titled Conspiracy. The tracks on this CD are:
Days of Wonder
Light in My Life
Violet Purple Rose
No Rhyme
Lonesome Trail
The More We Live {A much more powerful and convincing version than the Yes version imho}
Love Conquers All
Your the Reason
Watching the World
Red Light Ahead
bonus: The Big Peace, Comfortably Numb or
bonus: Wish I Knew (Original version of Open Your Eyes), Man in the Moon, Say Goodbye.
I enjoy both (or shall I say all three!) of these cds immensely.
The song, The Big Peace is a true prog epic!
