Tony is rocking the house on this!!
It's also interesting to hear Tony adding his style to what Rick Wakeman played originally. Sort of a "come full circle" thing at that time.

how did i ever miss this info? i know my sister will be really interested as she is a Bowie freak from way back!
and as her proud older sis, i had led her in the right direction musically speaking. and i am so glad that i took Vik to see David Bowie at the Tower Theatre in Philly on the day of her 13th birthday! to top that off, they were recording David's Live LP at the time so that was really neat too.

Good catch. "The Jean Genie" (Jean Genet?), the last song of the set, was originally on Alladin Sane, with Rick on keys.

Good catch. "The Jean Genie" (Jean Genet?), the last song of the set, was originally on Alladin Sane, with Rick on keys.
Rick never appeared on Bowie's Aladdin Sane album. All piano parts were played by Mike Garson. Rick did, however, feature on Bowie's Space Oddity album
