Have any of you guys read Umberto Eco's "Pendulum of Foucault"? As I was reading about the Great Secret of the templars, I realized that Tales from Topographic Oceans is actually a Secret Message to the the initiated ones who cannot reach eachother in the modern world! For example, The Ancient deals with the lost Atlantean culture and all that... So, you who haven't read the book must think I'm insane but those who have, please join me to have fun with my great idea!

P.S. I won't reveal any more of the Great Plan if no one participates.

"Foucault's Pendulum" shouldn't be taken too seriously : it was written as a satire on the phenomen of "The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail" by messrs Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln. For those interested in the Rennes-le-Chateau (a lovely wee place, by the way) saga I would recommend "Key to the Sacred Pattern" by the one and only Henry Lincoln.
Also I can't see any connection with the Knights Templar and "Tales". As far as I reckon it IS mostly based on Jon's reading of the Shastric Scriptures.
