I just got the Ocean Tales bootlet off of Dime, from Detroit Feb 28 1974, and I noticed that in Jon's introduction he say "Revealing Science of God - A Jungle of Trips", I looked on Forgotten Yesterdays and there doesn't seem to be any other instances of such an introduction, other then one where he calls it Dance of the Dawn...any ideas where this came from? Alternate title? Weird joke? An errant look at an alternate universe??

before 'The Revealing Science Of God' transcribed by : Pete Whipple
Jon Anderson : We hope you've come to listen to our new album. We'd like to play for you. The album is called 'Tales From Topographic Oceans. It's in four parts. It's based..uh loosely on, on the scriptures of the Sanskrit language. Which was the originator of all languages and was born in China thousand and thousands of years ago. Side one is titled 'The Revealing Science Of God - A Jungle Of Trips'.

About halfway down the page.

Nothing Jon ever says should surprise us....
But then one shouldn't expect to be able to make perfect sense out of all he says, either....

I've always enjoyed Jon's spacey ramblings during a concert - it's all just part of the charm . . . ;)
