Rep is either positive or negative comments that you can submit to a member of this site. Simply go to the bottom left of the person you wish to rep and click on the white icon.

That's right. And the more posts you make on site and the more positive rep you receive, then your rep power increases. That means when you give someone rep the number of points attached to it increases.

It's just a way of sending someone a wee comment about a particular post they have made without you having to send a PM or email.

Be careful giving out negative rep though. Doesn't go down well! I would reserve it for a post that you really don't like!

That means the person has disabled reputation. Why one would want to do that, I don't know! (No fun I guess?) :xolicon42:

You can still give the person rep, and they'll receive the messages like anyone else, but it won't show up as a status like "Has a Brilliant Future" or "Beyond Stellar."
