NPR Interview tomorrow with Alan

I just heard that Tuesday, Dec 19th, Alan White will be interviewed on NPR at 2pm PST. Not sure what the program is or if and when it will be aired in other cities. But thought I would pass it on for anyone interested.

Apparently the topic will be mainly Alan's involvement with John Lennon.

I don't know if npr.org live streams their broadcasts but they do post many of their pieces on the site after the fact. I probably won't be able to listen live so I'm hoping for that later tonight!

I used to host All Things Considered when I was a DJ at KUNC. I love that show! I think that we get it later than 2pm here in Sacramento. I'll have to tune in on my drive home. Thanks for the head's up.

I just called my local NPR station, and the woman suggested All Things Considered. Good call, Bobby Dread.

She suggested that it would be towards the end of the first or second hour.

Those of you wanting to listen on the internet, the NPR site has the program from the day before on the All Things Considered site.

Well, it was not an NPR interview as I originally heard it would be. It was a local interview on Seattle based NPR affiliate KUOW. But you can listen to it by going to their web site here:

I liked the story about Alan playing the vibraphones in the bathroom during the recording of "Jealous Sky".

Alan will be playing at the Crocodile Cafe tonight for the George Harrison Jam.
