Any input on the quality and/or value of the YesYears video?

I bought it on VHS when it first came out. Then got a copy of it on DVD recently when it was released on that format in Japan.

Its worth getting, has lots of interviews of almost all members of YES up to 1991 and lots of clips of the band playing etc.

Definitly a must have for any serious YES fan.

I agree with you Mike. As a matter of fact, I still watch it to this day on VHS (almost 10 years since I bought it). It's a great 2 hours of stories, footage and laughter.

Definitely worth getting YesYears on VHS...have it, myself.

Chris told a story on it about Trevor Horn having a nightmare, and honestly, I have had the same nightmare about the bandleader from the group I'm in now: We're backstage at a huge theater somewhere, and Ray (our bandleader) comes up to me with a tape and says, "Hey, Dawn, listen to this tune! I figure if you check it out real quick, we could open up with it!! It's all pretty much on you, but I KNOW you can do it" (saintly face) "You've got about 10 minutes before we go on!!" Oh, man....and he DOES these things to me....LOL! I can identify with Trevor Horn about that!!

The music clips on YesYears are wonderful, and the interviews are a joy...Highly recommended!!

It should absolutely be in every Yes collection.

A definate must have. I hope they release this on dvd here in the US. I have it on laserdisc and I'm afraid one of these days the laserdisc player will cease to exist, and they're too expensive to get repaired...in most cases.

I've seen the vhs used in a couple of shops in the past. Look there. If I see it again, I'll get it and throw it up for grabs here.
