Watcher.Watching all the majorettes smoking Winston cigarettes.

I think this is BOGUS. Fly on a Windshield/Broadway Melody should count as ONE SONG.

No question.....Follow You Follow Me. It was the first song I ever heard by Genesis therefore it has a certain sentimental value to me.

A little Follow You Follow Me trivia....

This was the first hit for Genesis in the US. They had a UK hit in 1974 with "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)." Peter Gabriel was their lead singer at the time.

This was one of the first songs all 3 members of Genesis helped write. Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford wrote most of the album. Phil Collins was not yet a prolific writer.

Peter Gabriel left the band 3 years before this was released. The success of this song answered questions about whether or not the band could survive without him.

The album title (And Then There Were Three) reflects the 3 members who were left after Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hacket left the band. This was the first single released with the lineup of Collins, Rutherford, and Banks.

I've never been sure where Fly ends and Broadway begins. And neither was whoever did the tracking on the CD, apparently.

Watcher, but...oh, that funky Broadway! :crybby:

I think B'way begins when the vocal kicks in: "Echoes..."

LOL! Well I've said it before, I do march to a different tune, and listen with a different ear.

I seldom ever like what everyone else does. :winknudge

Watcher Of The Skies

I love the Steve Hackett interpretation of this one as well, with Bruf on drums (perfectly suited for him, imo).

LOL! :lmao:
I joined the two tracks in iTunes
Actually, I have done that with quite a few Genesis songs -- it just doesn't sound "complete" otherwise...

Well "Watcher" is kicking butt here (rightfully so, I might add!) so I went with Broadway Melody
