On June 4th in:

1976~ Yes was on their Solos tour with Jon, Howe, Moraz, Squire, and White in Memphis Tennessee.

They played "Gates of Delirium" at this show, as well as "Hold Out Your Hand" from Chris' Fish Out of Water record. Chris received a standing ovation for the song.

1979~ was the Tormoto tour, and they were playing in Houston Texas that evening. "Circus of Heaven" was performed for the only time on a tour.

1991~ the Union tour. Yes was in Paris France at the Zenith Theatre to perform.

Actually I have a DVD of Circus of Heaven being performed in Philadelphia 1979. Not to be picky or anything..... but they also played it at every other show on the tour. I just thought I'd add to your post, just in case anyone mistook you for meaning the Texas show was the only time circus... ever was played.

Thanks. I guess I did not word it very well. I did mean that it was only played on that tour, not the one show. I have that dvd as well! Very enjoyable, although they edited out a TON of songs from that show:

Yeah, I can't believe they edit such sogns out! Why? There is no reason not to leave them in....is there?

I wonder if perhaps those songs did not come off that well that evening. But that would be strange because the show that was taped was their third evening in a row to play in Philly. Maybe that was all that could fit on a videotape at the time and they picked what they thought was the best. :confused: No telling....
