Help me please. First, how do I get the camera in the right hand corner off the screen when it pops up. It stays there for a minute or two and when it goes away, there is like a split second where the sound and picture stop or pause and then it continues like normal. Might it be the fact that my DVD player is older (5 yrs). I know some dvds have slight pauses and the better the dvd , the less likely to have these pauses? But, is there a way to get rid of the cmaera in the corner or make it not pop up? Thanks alot!!

Th camera icon is your dvd telling you thre is another camera angle. Actually, it is referring to the animation. If you check the owners manual, or your on screen options, there might be a way of removing it. The pauses are very likely due to the age of your player. The discs have gotten more sophisticated than when they first came out, and some of the older machines have a problem with the newer designed discs.

The camera icon can be removed by going to the "Setup" section on the main menu. Just click the icon button to OFF.
As for the "pause" problem you are having. That's not your DVD player's fault either. The 157 minute concert is too long to record on a a regular on a standard 4.5 gig DVD, so it must be recorded on a "dual layer" DVD. This is a standard issure nowadays. The pause occurs when the DVD player switches from one layer to the next, and has nothing to do with the age or quality of the player. My brand new Sony DVD player shows the "pauses".
Ways to have more or less layering lie in the bit transer rate chosen by the company when encoding the disk for the VideoTS file.

One other reason for the pause is that the DVD contains a script that it is reading, and when the animation icon comes on, it must jump from one script to the next. The new script being one that says "If the angle button is pressed, go to this new video stream" basically.
You may notice that the pausing is minimized if you turn the animatioin icon off.

I hope this has helped you.
