Satin Doll is a Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn/Johnny Mercer composition!!!!
Swing it, my man!! (I'm a big Ellington fan) :D

Great list......

You said you appreciate suggestions...does that include song suggestions?

If so:

Since you have a prog feel going...

How about, (to chain up in an ELP "2-for" with Lucky Man), adding
"From The Beginning"???

Or, just to add another prog band:
King Crimson ~ Heartbeat??

IN THE MEANTIME.........HAVE A GREAT TIME.....and KICK IT OUT!!

Peace,
~Riff.

Rabin, what are these Tales exertps? Steve Howe once said that Tales is his favourite Yes album because the piece can be easily arranged for classical guitar and he said that he just loves playing the movements with his acoustic. Now that would be awesome! Unfortunately I'm really not gifted with string instruments.

I play it relativly the same way as steve on not nesccaraly acoustic altough I arrange it a little differantly by putting afew themes from the Revealing and putting it at the end of ritual and then ending on an eminor kind of like the end of awaken

the first noe was played in a small lakeside comunity in jersy (went over real well) the set is changed since I have a band (though The keyboardest left an hour ago so I have to find another one or I am up a creek with out a paddle)

I usually only sit in for a few minutes.

My favorites are;

the intro to Blood of the Rooftops (great Hackett solo) - Genesis
Mood for a Day
From the Beginning
Staring Blindly into Space (my original)
and I will also do a Beatle or McCartney tune;
Another Day
All My Loving
Things We Said Today
