I am listening to Run Through The Light.I recently purchased this CD and am now enjoying it thoroughly.I refused to listen to it when it first came out as I did not consider it to be a real Yes album.Time mellows the man......

Does It Really Happen has some bithcin' bass intro. My favourite is still "ayamthecamera, cameracamera".

Some of the best music I have ever heard.

Phuck yeah! And Iron Maiden ripped it off (Wrathchild)...

If only more bands ripped off YES...I could live with that, seriously

In my mind, I am always listening to Drama. These days, it's the Rhino remaster (love the bonus tracks!). I'm going to have to stick it in the player for the ride home!

I must bump B-True and slide Drama into my changer. I sometimes forget how intense 'Machine Massiah' is.

...and 'Into the Lens' is a prog masterpeice.

Always loved Drama from day one although some of my friends laughed at me at the time saying it wasn;'t Yes!!! Well they were wrong and Drama is an excellent album Machine Messiah and Tempus Fugit are always played at Castle Kirkman and Into The Lens also gets a regualr airing. A very underrated album in my humble opinion. More people should check it out sometime:headset:

The sound/production and performances I think are some of their best...Geoff Downes did an excellent job and he deserves some props:appl[1]:

Very sweet keys all over the album..I noticed when there is Orgon and Rickenbacker bass happening together, it just sounds amazing. Kind of reminds me of The Yes Album.

I really enjoy the Rhino remaster and the studio out takes. I wonder if Trevor Horn is happy they put out the Tempus Fugit run through...I think it is cool to hear how very far the tracks actually came.:headset: nice work...

I hope Trevor Horn produces at least some of their new music. His fretless bass work on Run Through the Light is excellent as well...

Just heard a full Drama show recently and the songs seemed to
come across really strong live, wasn't the best recording so i'm
searching for a good sounding 1 at the moment......Drama alongside
Big Generator are the only Yes albums on my MP3 player this now.

Drama's been in my CD player this week. Absolutely love the agressive bass & guitar work all over this one, and Geoff's keys, while very different from Wakey, are quite impressive.

Sorry english is not my first language so forgive me if i make some mistakes.
I always considder Drama as a bad Yes album or a good Buggles album. Jon is not on the album and i miss him. But today i re discover the album by listening to Machine Messiah. And i must change my opinion. I still miss Jon on the album, but Trevor Horn does a very good job. But i specially listened to Chris' basslines on this song and these are some of the best basslines i have ever hear on any Yes album. So now i say it is a good Yes album (even know Jon is not on it) with a Chris Squire influence.

Glad to hear from another convert, and remember, converts tend to become harcore!!

And now IŽll go and confess that I always thought it was Jon... maybe his spirit was so strongly there.
Frankly, I havenŽt listened to this many times though IŽve had it for many years. But this does sound good.

Trevor Horn tried to emulate Jon, but he's not too comfortable singing that way. His own version of "Into The Lens" which is titled "I Am A Camera" was sung in a lower key.

I dont get sick of this album...Though people who often ride in my car do....:0

It's funny seeing the pictures and footage during this period because it sounds so current.

I think a lot of Yes albums after Drama drew from the amazing production.

Talk, almost 15 years later, is borowing at least the drum and vocal sounds. Where's the bass though??

Drama, one of their greatest sounding, and perfomed records...IMO ;)

Would love to hear Jon try 1 from Drama on the 2008 tour.

I've had the Rhino reissues (with bonus material) for some time, but this is probably only the second time I've played through most of the extra tracks.

I'm a huge fan of "Tempus Fugit" so it was fun to hear a weird/alternate take on it.

I have to admit my genuine pleasure hearing the instrumental verion of "Have We Really Go To Go Through This" (I've only heard the live bootleg version.) And "Song No. 4" was a surprise. I don't remember this one. It's quite varied - prog for sure. I was trying to imagine what vocals and keyboards might possibly work.

A fun listen!
