I just bought the Symphonic Live DVD. Wow! What a beautiful document to have of the band of my lifetime. Truly exceptional in every way. My big question is this. My DVD player is on my computer and I also have a CD burner. Is there a way to extract the audio only and burn it to CD. Any help. However, if this is not legal, I will not do it. I don't want to take anything away from the YES coffers.
Much thanks,

IF YOU HAVE A CD BURNER (NOT ON YOUR COMPUTER )YOU CAN HOOK IT TO YOUR HOME THEATER RECIEVER AND RECORD THE AUDIO SIGNAL. THIS LETS YOU RECORD THE AUDIO TO CD . I HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS SO I KNOW IT WORKS .

Have a look at this site. It appears to record the DVD audio but I've not used it myself.

My plan is to purchase the DVD and then covert to MP3 and use it on my PocketPC - all I need now is to buy a DVD drive for my PC!

A friend of mine was doing this and it took a few tries as he was having a problem because of the animation, so make sure the animation option is OFF when you try to rip it.
Also, I guess it's okay to rip an audio copy for yourself since you did purchase the official CD....However, keep in mind that trading officially released material is a very big no no and should not be done on this site. :nono:
