Hello there to you all, Old & New YES Fans,
My name is Margaret I live in Bay Ridge ,brooklyn.
I am almost 43 my BD is in 19 days. I have 2 beautiful children Will is 23 and Lil Margaret is 15, And I have my rock Allen. I have tried to brainwash them to listen to Yes, my son listened for a while till 14 then turned to rap (YUCK) and My Margaret is a true Yes fan she has been to 6 concerts. (Yeah) one out of two ain't bad lol. Allen was already a Yes fan when we met 7 yrs ago.
I have been a Yes Fan since the age of 13, where I was brainwashed by my older brother John, to listen to Yes, ELP, Black Sabbath. and thank God for him, Yes has gotten me through so many rough times in my life. I have been to more then 15 concerts and a few meet & greets met JON twice once after a small concert in NJ and the other in the borgata hotel & casino, I was in heaven when I hugged him, he is so very sweet and kind. All the Boys in the band are gentelman. I truly love Yes, so much about 20 yrs ago I got the yes sign tattooed on my back its awsome and next time I meet any of the band I will ask them to sign my back and then I will get it tattooed over their signature. Many songs from Yes mean so much to me. I lost my Dad at 21 so I didn't really get to know him as an adult. Then after Dad so many aunts & uncles. then this past yr I lost my brother Tom at 46 he died suddenly like my Dad, then 4 days later I lost my sister in law Peg to lung cancer 52 and then 8 months later I lost my big sister Ann 49 to stomach cancer. it was the worst thing I ever had to go through, she asked me to stay with her till the end and I did. she lived in PA. so for 6 weeks I left my family to care for Ann, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. She suffered so much. I have been through alot and Thank God he gave me the strenth to do what Ann needed me to do for her.I am disabled with a bad back and I just do not know how I did it. Yes was a big help to me the songs lifted me through each day and Jon's solo songs were the best spritual songs and help me so very much. So this is my life and I thank you all for listening and I thank Jon, Chris,Steve.Alan & Rick with all my heart. I do know my family are all together waiting for the rest of us to come!

Yes Always,
Luv Margaret

Yes music has always been an inspiration to those who have been through alot. It's the message, the beauty and solace of their music that touches peoples lives, like yours...

Yes is the soundtrack of my life, and has provided me great comfort and joy over the years. Keep getting those family friends to listen!

Hi Margaret. What a post! Welcome here. That's a great idea having a signature tatooed over. Like you, I've lost many loved ones over the years- it's never easy. Yes music helps me cope with... everything! Have fun here.
