My 5 yr old just asked what a record was. Pulled out an old LP and he was like, COOL, how does that work. <br>

About once a year I get urge to get rid of all my LP's. However, I always stop. They cost a good deal of money when I bought them in the first place. They make for a great conversation piece. The art work/album covers are just not the same on a CD. Lastly, I would have no need for a turntable if I got rid of them and where's the fun in that. So, may the "Cool" factor remain and may our LP's be treated with the reverence (moment of silence) they deserve.

P. S. - Try explaining the "Eight - Track". Remember how it would split a song in the middle when changing to the next track. How annoying.
P.S.S. - Do any of you ever wonder why they did not fix the break in Ritual when Yesshows went to CD. Surely, the master tapes are still available.
