Tim, I want to personally thank you for all of your hard work over the last 30 hours. I know how stressful this all was, and you worked your fingers to the bone. I am very appreciative!

I love this community!

i'm so sorry this has happened.
i tried to post this several times. was successful once, then it disappeared with several days of other posts, then i tired again twice and site went down again before i could get it done. i was responding to the RSS thread you started, but it applies even more now.
i don't come to Yesfans to debate politics, homosexuality, religion, etc. i don't come to Yesfans for sports, or stocks, or news. all that stuff is available on dozens and dozens of other sites. i come to Yesfans for Yes, the music, the band, the fans. i would not be upset in the slightest if those sections of the site never came back. i understand the desire to provide an open vehicle for the free flow of ideas and opinions, but in my opinion Yesfans cannot and should not be an 'everything to all people' site. it is and should be a Yes site. folks who want to be narrow minded and disruptive can find lots of other places on the web for that. there is only one place (in my mind) to interact about our favorite band.
you put in tons of time and effort and your own money to provide us with this Yes neighborhood. (my wife would have kicked me to the curb over this way long time ago!) you really don't need all this extra headache. and i'm very sorry that you've had to fight this fight. please know that i am forever grateful to you for all you have done for me, via Yesfans. if it all went away because of this, i'd be sad for sure, but i would always be thankful for the opportunity Yesfans provided to make friends and share the Yes experience. i have never met you, indeed have had only limited contact with you over the last few years, yet you will always be a good friend because of Yesfans. no matter how this all turns out, i just want to say thank you.

I want to add my Thanks so much, Tim. As Sheila confirmed, this has been awfully stressful on you, and we appreciate everything you've done to get this board for our wonderful community back up and running

And there's someone else here who wants to say thanks as well. He really really wants to come out, so . . . .

Tim, I join everyone here in thanking you very much , for not bowing to this kind of tasteless jokes . Hope it'll be the last, too !

P.S : Wouldn't it be transparent if you could at least tell us who,of whom we might suspect, has not been behind it ? If you would clear that up , I for one, would be happy with that ! Thanks.

You want to know WHO WAS NOT behind it?Different names are named , here and there . I think we all would like to know which of these names have nothing to do with what has happened. Although , we don't have to know who did it , if it's not going to be public, as you said earlier.
It's a pretty serious matter.

Guns, there's no telling.

It was probably just some idiot with too much knowledge and too much time on his hands that gets his jollies by boasting to his friends how many sites he's hacked into.
