Barnes & Noble states a Bonus DVD with the Word is Live. Anyone have it?

It is a mistake. Several retailers listed TWIL as 2CD and a bonus DVD. In fact, when I purchased my copy at Best Buy, it was shelved with the DVDs.
Nonetheless, there is NO DVD, much to the chagrin of many here.

It could be kind of a promotion which the DVD bonus would be one of those movies that had poor sale; just clean up their stock.

No.. It's a regular audio disc. All CD's can be played in DVD players, my copy of Ommadawn has no DVD logo on it ;)

There is a 2CD / 1DVD version available from Russia. The two CDs are the same as the first two CDs on the regular TWIL set. The DVD is the QPR 1975 concert.
Quite a nice set - well packaged and excellent sound.

And where does one order such a "prize" as this?

At times you can perform a search on e-Bay and you will find it there, but I'm not too sure that this is an official release or something pirated.
About a year ago I bought Rick Wakeman's Rhapsodies CD from a Russian e-Bayer (sorry, that was about the only chance I have had of acquiring that album on CD) an although the quality is stunning, I know that it's a pirate copy...

Can you vouch for this release? They are offering it at a good price but is disc 3 legit? and good quality? The reason I never bought the "QPR" stuff a few years ago when they were readily available through online outlets, was because all the reports were of sound quality and visual's being less than optimal.

The Word is Live is a three CD audio set. There is no official set involving a DVD.
Furthermore, the 2 albums together releases were announced as not being legit either by various artists (inc Rick I believe).

Yes, I bought one on e-bay.
It is an official release. I imagine an extremely limited version.

Virtually none of these Russian releases are legit. Russia has very little in the way of copyright law or enforcement right now. Most of the bucks from stuff like this go straight to the Russian mafia. That's how obviously dodgy sites like allofmp3.com continue to operate. It's a similar situation to Italy in the early 90s when you could walk into most indie CD merchants in the US and find rows and rows of "Italian imports" that seemed to consist mostly of unissued live recordings. I do have a few Russian discs in my collection, but please realize that this particular "release" (I use the term loosely.) of The Word Is Live is not authorized by Yes or WEA/Atlantic/Rhino etc. and they won't get a dime from it.
That site also lists an obviously bootleg two CD with DVD version of The Wall by Pink Floyd. The 8/9/80 performance at Earls Court was professionally filmed, but has never been released and the footage from that show does circulate in Floyd traders' circles and weeds similar to what we have here. It's dubbed from a couple of generations of VHS and is pretty tough watching in places because the picture is so poor but if you want to see one of the original Wall live shows then it's your only option.
