Amsterdam DVD shipped yesterday

I got an email from CDNow that my DVD that was on preorder was shipped yesterday. I was sent a UPS tracking number so I guess they really shipped it. I thought the release date was the 18th, but I'm not complaining.

As did I. I'm hoping to arrives today since UPS doesn't deliver on the weekend. If it doesn't get here today, I'll have to wait until Monday. At least, even then, I will have it a day early.

Damn, why is Amazon lagging. I even heard that the DVD is out at FYE stores in Manhattan. I can't beleive I have to wait until next week or worse. How weak is that?

Mine arrived about an hour ago, and from what I have seen, I like it.

Sorry about amazon but they have always been behind the times, at least that has been my experience with them. With CDNow, you sometimes have to pay extra, but they will generally get it to you before the release date. That's where their coupons come in handy...it makes up for the extra shipping charge.
