I think it would work very well to put Fragile in its entirety, without a break, on the setlist. A surprisingly kick off with Roundabout, maybe Rick can include some solo pieces in Cans and Brahms, We have heaven (maybe difficult because of the multi-voices), South Side of the Sky!!!, give Alan a free hand on 5 percent, Long distance and a great solo from the Fish, a quiet intermezzo by Steve's Mood for a Day and the grand final with Heart of the Sunrise. Classic Yes, but with 4 songs we did not have seen in concert.
What do you think??

I'm afraid I can't agree with this one. With the solos being extended, what was a 40 minute album would probably grow to about 55 minutes and this would be too large a section taken up by one album. Just think what would have to be missed out to accomodate it.

Now THAT would be different, I think it's a great idea. It amazes me how little that record is talked about, while we've had endless threads about CTTE, TFTO, and Relayer. Fragile is the record that did it for me.

We'll get Roundabout, HOTS is also really possible, havn't heard it mentioned yet, but Squire and Wakey love playing this song. LDR, will probably be left out, Wakeman has stated that he really didn't care for the Cans and Brahms solo. MfaD is always possible. I would love to here Fish as oppposed to Whitefish, but I doubt that will happen. 5% would be great, but that's pure Bruford, not in Alan's style and would be pretty damn hard to do live anyway. We Have Heaven would be cool, but all tape. That leaves us with the ever teasing Southside! They did rehearse it for the Masterworks tour 2 years ago, and even had it on the soundboard setlists at several of the shows I saw on that tour. But alas they didn't play it. Will Wakeman being back in the fold maybe push them over the edge on this one? Probably not, he has said in the past that he didn't care for that one either. But damn that would be gem that many fans would love to hear!

Can't agree with Fragile in the setlist. Going for the One, on the other hand....

Not so sure about GOING FOR THE ONE, either. How about KEYS TO ASCENSION? Or better yet, MAGNIFICATION!

I think Yes should steal a page from the Cheap Trick tourbook, so to speak, and do a different album every night, just to keep things fresh.
Peace, Love, and No Objection to Fragile, CTTE or Going for the One, Because This Year is the 30th or 25th Anniversary of Those Albums,
John C.
