'Holy Lamb' from 'Big Generator'

This, to my mind, is a truly beautiful song. It fills me up to near overflowing with emotion. The divine tones of Jon's voice is supreme on this track and rises it to heavenly heights. 'Holy Lamb' proves that Yes do not just excel in the production of epic masterpieces. They also bring rare quality and brilliance to their shorter tracks, proving once again what a truly all-round band they are.

i saw yes perform holy lamb during the big generator tour in march 1988, at the santa barbara (california) county bowl. i was sitting near the back of this small outdoor venue. near the beginning of the song while jon was singing the line, "like a light that's lost upon the stage" the spotlight which was shining on him burned out with a flash. i was in the back close to the spotlight so i saw the whole thing.

Holy Lamb is great...I remember seeing a boot video of the BG tour where Yes played Holy Lamb in a longer arrangement, the whole band joins in after Jon's solo performance, anyone remember this? It was truly amazing...

I recently created a thread about what Harmonic Convergence is (Mayan) and the timing of HC with the release of Big Gen.

It would be very interesting to hear thoughts on Jon's Lyrics for Holy Lamb as they pertain to Harmonic Convergence (which is only referenced by Jon in the subtitle).
