Could only find a couple of pictures of the interior of The Chicago Theatre...but thought it would be fun to post them anyway.

It should, by the looks of it be a great venue to see the boys. It's great seeing them in these cozy venues. The last 3 tours Yes has come to the Twin Cities, they either played at the State Theatre or the Orpheum. Both are great venues for Yes. Too bad they're skipping us this time around, but I've got the best seat I've ever had for a Yes show at the Chicago Theatre and I'm looking forward to it (definite understatement!) and the pre-show (and post show?)at the Berghoff. See ya all there! I hope this tour rocks!

...Reminds me a lot of The Fox in Detroit. Look to the right middle edge of pic #2 and that's where I'll be sitting. Somebody please tell me these will be halfway decent seats: BALC3R, ROW F, 318 thru(?) 320. It's been awhile since I've sat in a balcony for a concert. Good ol' Ticketb*stard screwed me over, or more accurately AOH*ll did. Or maybe it was my jalopy 56k connection. Could have been a combination of all three...:crybby:

At any rate, I had main floor, section 2R, Row P and it didn't go through. Actually, the ones I got seem to be better insofar as they are closer to the center of the theatre than off to the side. Ah, what I am saying? This will be the first time I've seen Yes with Rick Wakeman since the Union tour and I'm sure it'll be a great show wherever I'm sitting! Nous sommes du soleil...

Peace,

Phil

its still one of our most beautiful theatres in chicago
and it's out of the same vein as the Fox in detroit and st louis
- within the last couple of years a lot of rehab work has been done to the theatre and you can see the result

i finally caved and got 5th row balcony - still going to try to move
up but wanted to have some seats - hope everyone else did ok
should be a great show

Amen to that brother! I could've had some good seats in the presale also but got screwed. Oh well, I hope they allow binoculars LOL.

That theatre looks small. I wonder how many people it fits. They seem to be able to still play bigger places on the East Coast.
