This is in response to the ladies poll regarding who would we want to "be" with. So now the shoe is on the other foot. Which Yes member past or present would you want to spend a day with talking, jamming or "whatever". Let's keep it clean ....

I'd like to spend the day shopping with Chris.
Where does he get the spandex?
Who makes those outfits?
Where does he get the jewelry?
It would be a tour to "The Other Side" and,
YES,
I would need a guide!

I'm thinking Chris. From everything I've read and heard about him, he seems to be a fun guy and likes to go for pints. Sounds good to me.

Shopping huh? I'd like to go shopping with Jane and Gigi myself! It's amazing to see how we differ - ladies, and gents....

It was just a joke.
Chris seems like a cool guy, and I would love to have a cold one with him, but where could we go while he is wearing the spandex, the boots, the cape, and the white socks? I just can't picture him at a neighborhood bar shooting pool in that outfit.
Do you remember the capes he used to wear in the 70's? They looked like pieces of wrapping tissue that he got tangled in.

He does live in LA. I hear spandex is always in down there.

I think Alan White would have a lot of great stories about his days before Yes. I think I'd enjoy talking with him.

I love Jon so very much. But he seems to be opinionated about stuff. So I'm not sure if I would like to hang out with him. I love Rick,no matter how much people dislike him for leaving the band every other album or so. I'd teach him how to ski to get that old ticker going.>JOE

I've noticed in his liner notes Jon always seems to have women on his staff. Maybe He'd like to go shopping!

Even though this is a guy thread, the thought of shopping with Jon put me over the edge. Could there be a better day?

Hi Devotee! Thanks for the welcome back!
How could Jon Not like Trader Joe's? I would not be particular though but I'd bet walking down main street in Boulder would be the fun place to shop with Jon. There's a way cool Tibetan store that I'd bet he'd like. And I like it too. So, I think we should make a date. Then it's a plan, right? hahahaha!

There is so much talent in this band it is unfair to single out just one member to spend a day with. I chose Steve Howe because I played guitar for years before my hands whent bad. He is the best player in the world but Criss Squire is not far behind.

I would love to talk philosophy with Jon.
I would love to spend a day with Steve and see how he plays some of that incredible stuff.
I would end the day with Chris bending a few pints!

I'd have to talk Beatles with him...
Rick....
Great storyteller, attentive listener, practical jokester.

I would like to stay on the earth; so Jon is out. I'd like to talk with him a couple hours, though.
I chose Rick- he's funny and genuinely nice. I've met him before and he is very kind. So is Alan.
I'm a singer, too, so I would love to sing some stuff with Rick.

Jon would be the most interesting.
Chris would be great to "party" with. I have heard he can stay awake a really long time.
Rick would be very entertaining, because of his comedy club experience.

... and I enjoyed talking with him, even though I had trouble making out the words "wing mirror" when he mentioned that he was using one on the "Yessymphonic" tour to keep track of the orchestras. As Alan said himself, it was early!
But I voted for Jon. It would be fun AND spiritually enlightening.

I'd like to hang out with Jon and I could get to know more about his lifestyle, like his meditation and other spiritual interests he has.
Chris seems like a really cool guy too, so I'd love to hang out with him and go for a drink!

after seeing rick, i'd have to say him
he is so funny i think we'd have a killer day.
