THey have just changed the name of the tour from Classic to 2002.
Cool!
Hopefully this means that they will focus a bit more on the newer material.
Perhaps they are listening to the fans?

I like it too - a blend of the traditional Dean logo with a modern feel. So - when will the merchandise be available?

Wow,
I like that logo.. Its like Roger Dean mixes with the 80's album covers.. ITs Modern, Retro, and Classic all at the same time.. Sweet!! :)
I hope this means we will hear some new songs too!!

At least it sounds like the band is looking forward to the future. Not stuck in the '70's. That is a positive step into a new millenium. I don't know if they will play new material, but they should! :>JOE

I wonder if he was involved with the new logo.
I am so happy that they are finally moving forward with their visuals.
As opposed to the design for The Ladder, the design and look of Magnification and the Amsterdam DVD is firmly rooted in their past while it has a more contemporary look.
I wonder if we can expect a cool looking stage this time around?

You bring up a great point Gustavo. The stage. It seems to me that they've neglected it for Quite a while now. I'll cut them some slack on Magnification because of the cost of the orchestra but simply showing videos on a backdrop is getting old. Although I love Jon's recent toy chests it seems to me like they could do a lot more. What's Roger Dean's number?

I thought the stage for the Masterworks tour was decent. The stage for the Symphonic tour was rather poor, but we can give them a break since the Orchestra must have cost them a bit.
Hopefully YES 2002 will be awesome.
I really don't care what the stage looks like as long as the band's on it playing.
