http://www.patrickmoraz.com
To whet your appetite, here is the list of albums included in the remaster series:
1). Mainhorse
2). Refugee
3). Story of I
4). Out In The Sun
5). Patrick Moraz III
6). Coexistence/Libertate (same album, Libertate is in reverse order of Coexistence)
7). Timecode
8). Future Memories Live on TV
9). Future Memories II
10). Future Memories I & II
11). Human Interface

Many of the CDs will have bonus tracks and new liner notes. Also, Patrick expects to be doing some promotions and playing some live gigs in the not too distant future.

Very cool! I'll be looking forward to some of these.
I hope Patrick plays near Nashville - I had the good fortune to see him here once before - an amazing solo performer!

Thank God; I had to get someone to eBay a CD of i years ago and dubbing my original vinyl has been impossible due to the cost of pre-amps now.......
Need PM III now, man I miss practising that album.

In case you don't subscribe to the MorazNews e-mail list (and why don't you?), here is the announcement that was posted there yesterday about the first two CDs in the re-master series:
Greetings, Patrick Moraz fans! As you may know, all of the albums in
Patrick's back catalog of solo and early group recordings have been
re-mastered and will be released soon. The first two CDs in the re-
master series are on their way, and we have Patrick's personal
announcement about them:
**************************************************
HELLO EVERYONE AND ALL MY FANS,
MAINHORSE
During the past few years, I have been working very hard searching
and gathering the original master tapes and masters from most of my
historical recordings. Today, I am very pleased to announce that my
first ever album with my own group, MAINHORSE, is going to be
released on the TimeWave label and distributed by Voiceprint,
(www.Voiceprint.co.uk), one of the best distribution companies in
the world for this kind of music.
The CD has been re-mastered under my supervision from the original
master tapes, by my very good friend and the original bass player
from MAINHORSE, Jean Ristori. Jean was YES's sound engineer for the
1976 Tour and is now Chief Engineer at MTX Mastering for Montreux
Sounds. The re-mastered CD of MAINHORSE sounds FANTASTIC! The
release date is set for the 22nd of May. Please buy them for you,
your family and friends, at your local record store or on the
Internet. You can also pre-order the CDs and/or get further details
at http://www.Voiceprint.co.uk
I am also very happy to announce that REFUGEE, my second album ever,
with the group I formed with Lee Jackson and Brian Davison, formerly
with the Nice, is also going to be released on TimeWave and
distributed by Voiceprint. The CD was superbly produced by REFUGEE
and John Burns, the excellent producer of GENESIS for two of their
Albums.
The REFUGEE CD has also been re-mastered from the original master
tapes by myself and Jean Ristori and it sounds ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
The release date is set also for the 22nd of May. Please buy them
not only for yourself, but for your family and all your friends and
the friends of their friends. As with MAINHORSE, you'll find the CDs
at your local store or on the Internet. And again, you can also pre-
order both CDs and get further details at http://www.Voiceprint.co.uk
God Bless and with my very best wishes,
Patrick Moraz
********************************************
Voiceprint has announced the release date for these CDs as May 22,
2006. Please check with your favorite retailer for availability.
Tell your friends about the release of these previously hard-to-find
albums, now painstakingly re-mastered for your listening pleasure.
And coming soon, The Story of I and Out in the Sun! Stay tuned!

Sorry I haven't checked in here in a while. You should be subscribed now, but if you didn't get anything to say that it worked, let me know and I'll look into it.
BTW, I just ordered three of the CDs (Refugee, Story of I, PM III) from Amazon.co.uk, mainly because they had Refugee in stock when I checked (unlike most of the other outlets I checked), and the net cost was no more than ordering through Amazon.com. They are supposed to ship between August 18 and 23. I'm looking forward to getting them!
Now if a US distributor would pick up the catalog, maybe we could get them faster and cheaper than as imports. Oh well, they will be worth it!

Got the remastered Story of i and Out in the Sun today. Great records, and they sound excellent! Wish Olias (and other Yes solos) would get the same treatment some day...

How do you like Out in the Sun?
i is fabulous, got vinyl of both and old Japanese CD of i.
Never get to hear the former: not dubbed to tape......
Spotted a spacy compilation in a skateboard shop nearby in 'classical' bin today, eek:2 Moraz tracks and they even make a full Tony Kaye Cd, same company.
Got a Skinny Puppy CD instead, rare disc for a Swedish buddy.
If I get the other will post details.

Got my first rerelease today and have more ordered. It's going to be nice to have better recordings of these. I spent some serious time and money tracking down the vinyl to start with. I still want Patrick Moraz in Yes after all these years even though I know it will never happen. I implore him to release another electronic album. The Moraz/Syrinx has to be the absolute oddest one although I like it.

Hey all,
I'm glad that some of you have been able to pick up some of the new remasters. So far I have Mainhorse, Refugee and Story of i. I have Patrick Moraz III on order from Amazon.co.uk. I expect to get my order in for Out in the Sun soon.
All the remasters sound great to me. Story of i in particular sounds tons clearer than the Japanese-release CD that I got a few years ago, which was way too compressed and quiet, IMO. I'm looking forward to getting the rest of the remasters once they are released.
Now I'm praying that Patrick releases some new music soon, and plays some live gigs. It's been way too long for both!

I got that one today. Yes, it is very strange music indeed! Sort of folky elevator-prog with some reggae-feeling, and with pan-pipe as the main instrument. Must give it a proper listening later.
I also ordered "Timecode". Can anyone tell me which of the Moraz' later albums should i buy?
