I suspect the Native First Peoples of this land would wish that this was exactly what he saw!!

I love this painting, but isn't the perspective a little off with the ridge in the background right side? The waterfalls coming over the rocks seem to be rather high up.... too high in relation to the sea level. Please tell me if I am seeing it wrong....
