It has been policy on the site for some time to close threads with 1k posts. Sometimes we do it right at 1k, sometimes we do not. I am writing this to let you all know that the staff has been asked to watch out for threads for 1k posts and to close them and start a PART II or PART III or what ever is the case and start a new one with the same title with a PART what ever on that. In the past folks have rheamed me for doing this and did not btoher to look for a PART what ever that had been started.
Sooooooooooo this is fair warning, we will be doing this to threads that warrant it. As threads get larger and members and guests read and reread them it can slow the site down when you have tons of folks pulling up a thread with a ton of posts.
