Dances w/PURPLE

Always a good read at Henry Potts site. Yes are on a break. Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White and Rick Wakeman toured extensively in recent years and it is unclear when the band will re-group. Yes is managed by 10th Street Entertainment. The Yes name became the property of Yes '97 LLC comprising Anderson, Squire, Howe and White (although there is a report that Wakeman became a co-owner of the name too in 2003).
Touring
Yes have no plans to tour in 2005 and the first half of 2006 seems unlikely too. Various comments by Anderson have indicated his reluctance to tour; for example, a Jan 2005 report quoted him as saying, on being asked about whether Yes would tour in 2005, "No, I've got work to do." In an Aug 2005 interview, Wakeman said that Anderson's "doctor said to him that you have got to have a minimum of 8 months off touring" after Yes's touring in 2004.
In an interview circa Mar 2005, Anderson said the band would probably tour in 2006. However, other comments suggest touring is unlikely until 2007—further discussion of the band's future plans is below. When the band do tour again, Howe has indicated that he would like them to play "To be Over", while when Howe appeared on Wakeman's radio show in Nov 2005, he and Wakeman said they should play "Parallels" again, Wakeman describing it as "a good opener". In a Feb 2005 interview, Anderson said he would like to play new material on their next tour.
