Ten years ago, when I was over in New York and New Jersey, I got my flat (where I lived at the time) broken into. Most of my CD's were stolen, this album being one of them. I haven't actually heard it since as I have never seen a copy around to buy. Obviously I could get one online somewhere. I still have the Brother of Mine cd single with Vultures on the bside.

I remember really liking it when it came out a lot. Is there a difinitive copy availabl to buy somewhere, perhaps a remastered and expanded version?

Cheers,
Brian

There's no remastered and expanded version. I actually saw this CD today (now yesterday) in my favorite local record store which also carries used CDs. It was $2.99 used, there was a second used copy for more. This is readily available at least here in the states. In another store, a few days ago I saw 'The Ladder' album selling brand new for 2.99 (some of them were "cut-outs" while others were unscathed). A few weeks ago, I actually saw the ABWH album at a record store in New Hope, PA in a brand new sealed LP, that's right vinyl. I am kicking myself for not buying it just for the album art itself.

I guess I'll be off to ebay then. :D

although ABWH does sound quite good I would like to see it remastered with a little more bass put into. Levin plays with Gabriel and he should know how to create that deep sound that PG has. Maybe a challenge for the mighty Pietrini?

A remaster should feature Vultures, the single version of I'm Alive (different lyrics) and some screen art or something.

With all due respect to my good buddy and fellow Drama-booster Scooty, no Yes collection can afford to be without ABWH and the ABWH Stockholm weed.

I'm boycotting An Evening Of Yes Music. They could have had the recording equipment arranged for a night that Tony was going to be on board. The Stockholm weed solves that problem.

although my dad's hippy like brothers used to play Yes albums around me when I was a baby, I got into them as a fan when ABWH came out and the pay per view special aired. The commercial played "Long Distance Runaround" with the animation to "Brother of Mine" and my head exploded! I hadnt heard that song since I was at least 5. I watched the show, bought the cassette single for Brother of Mine with Vultures as the bside. I would love to get my hands on a digital copy of Vultures. If anyone can help me out, lemme know!

If neilius can do you an original, I could let you have a copy of the Stockholm show if you want it. PM me.

Saw ABWH live in Vancouver, March, 1989, got the vinyl here and the CD ages ago.
What is 'Vultures'??

I found the vinyl a few weeks ago in Victoria in great shape.

Sorry, it is actually called "Vultures in the City". It was the b-side to the Brother of Mine (single version) here in the UK. Should have been on the album instead of Teakbois.
