The are plenty of YES bootlegs that represent every era they've been through. I think that the fans listening to some bootlegs was a very good help in order to try to fill Wakeman's missing.
In your opinion, which bootleg represents a comprehensive work that Wakeman featured prominently? And now, more than never makes you quite eager to see him play those songs again?
What about the quality sound?
You may even mention a bootleg without Wakeman.

Love comes to you......

Not to encourage bootlegs - I think shows should be freely traded between fans - I must say that there are some terrific shows from the 1978 tour circulating around. There's one from an FM broadcast with a killer STARSHIP TROOPER that I'd love to get a copy of. I think it was from the LA Forum.

Excellent point i-and-i, not to encourage bootlegs. The free exchange between fans it's the best way out of being ripped off by who have nothing in common with YES music.

I have some 'bootleg' albums (remember them ?) I collected years ago, and have been fortunate enough to have found some wonderful CD copies of many tour/shows I attended. My favorite is "Madrigal Mystery Tour". Thank you so much - you know who you are ;-))
YES were so tight during this period and the 'Close Encounters Theme' intro brought back the magic memory of their spectacular entrance. . . if you didn't see it, man; it was awesome !
F.Y.I.= This was during the "Tormato" period and shortly before their seperation, but the band was playing so well and their medley of "Time and a Word/Long Distance Runaround/The Fish/Survival/Perpetual Change/Soon" is a treasure to relive ; so I'm fine with bootleg trading, etc . . ???
Finding these gems has given me hours of true enjoyment and a nice walk down memory lane.
