I have an idea...

I feel really bad for our Australian brothers & sisters who haven't had a YES concert in years. Everytime I post thoughts on the upcoming tour, I feel a bit uncomfortable knowing our Australian members are left out.

My idea is to remind YES to go to Australia. Each show of the 2002 tour is an opportunity to tell them. It would be great if lots of us would make banners Yes could see from the stage - with such slogans as PLEASE VISIT OUR FRIENDS DOWN UNDER, AUSTRALIAN YES FANS NEED YES SHOWS, etc... Just don't let these banners block anyone's view of the concert!

And if you're in the front row, and maybe you're planning to bring a bouquet of roses for the band, you could include a card or note to remind them that Australian Yes fans really want to see them.

Good on'ya i-and-i

From a passionate Australian Yes fan, anything you guys and gals can do to encourage them to tour down under will be appreciated. We forever keep our fingers crossed and hope they will visit our shores again - the last time was 1973 so its long overdue.

I have friends who will be coming to the US to see this year's tour - would love to come myself but I'll be over there in 2 weeks and can't stay until their tour begins nor return to see it.

My visits to the US and Europe have never coincided with a tour so its been very frustrating!

I am glad I am over here! I was getting tired of hearing this guy cry about paying to see YES! I payed $50 dollars to see the guys at Jones Beach and PNC Bank Arts Center. Radio City was the most expensive for orchestra seats. But I am so happy to see them again. This is the lineup to see! I wish allthe best for our friends down under. I'll ask Steve to chuck me a guitar pick. I'll mail it to you. JOE :guitar:

Brian D,

Give us back the Ashes and I'll put in a good word for you.

Martin - surely you want to WIN them back and not rely on charity? Having just been named the best sports team in the world, I doubt if the Australian cricketers would help out.

On the cricket topic, are there any Yes members who are cricket followers along the lines of Mick Jagger and Elton John?

Thanks for all your help in the US for a tour "downunder".

Just break out a few bars of "Waltzing Matilda" and they may get the message. But if any of you are lucky enough to meet them just mention us poor buggars in Oz waiting to throw money their way for a live show.
