Hello to all -- I am a newbie here - but a Moderator at www.r-u-s-h.com. Any Dallas area Yes fans get their high dollar seats for the 8/17 "Sweatplex" today ? -- 2 days prior to Rush's show ( BTW the presale for Rush is next Wednesday ) - I still can't figure out why either band wants to play outside in Dallas in August ?

The powers that be must have smiled as I got Sec 102 Row A seats 3 & 4 -- I can't wait to see Wakeman live !! -- I missed the ABWH tour due to service in the Military but am glad to see him tour with them again

We'll be 2 rows behind you, row C, seats 1 and 2. This will be the third time I've seen Yes at that place ('91, '00 and now). These are my best seats yet. Once the music starts, we'll forget about the heat.

Definitely -- I've always seemed to pay little attention to the heat once they hit the stage, and like you this is the closest I have been yet - Good summer for concerts!

I kept "playing around" with Ticketmaster and, at about 10:15 Section 101 came up for sale! I got row C just center stage left. :)

Of course, that was after I had already bought 2 in Section 102... go figure. My 2 daughters can use those. :D

Wow, Sec 101 !! -- I was hoping to score some there - but If Rick and Steve are on the left this year - I will not complain at all -- are any Dallas fans going to see Rush ?

Wow, how did you all score such good seats? I tried and tried starting at 10 am, but ended up with row Y, section 100 in the mid 20's.

I guess they are OK seats, but Yes hasn't came to Hawaii in 15 years, so I'll be flying out to Dallas for this and the Rush show. Don't get a change to see them much.

Recommend any good hotels nearby?

If you are flying into Love Field you might try the Clarion on Mockingbird - or if into a little pricier digs try the Anatole or Wyndham on I-35.

Closer to the venue are a Days Inn off 75 by SMU and there is the Harvey on Coit/LBJ.

I do not recommend any of the seedier Hotels around Fair Park- primarily for the issue of safety.

As far as seats go -- I started around 10:15a and prior to logging into express tickets pulled up 103 Sec Y, AA, and BB. - The went ahead about 10:25a and put in my login and it then puilled up Sec 102 Row A - and I jumped quick - I am still glad to see Yes Fans scoring decent seats of those Scalpers and Brokers - it is how it should be -- the damn Brokers should all get stuck with obstructed views and lawn seats, IMO

I am bringing my fiance, so I'll probably try to find a nice hotel. I'll take your recommendations into consideration. How are the Magnolia and Cresent Court hotels? And how is that general area that those two hotels are at?

Would you recommend renting a car or taking a taxi around?

Thanks for the info.

I would rent a car for general ease of travel -- If you are considering the Crescent - you might want to check out the Mansion on Turtle Creek. The best food and accomodations in the area and the Crescent ranks with it as well
