$103.35 - that is the price per ticket for Radio City Music Hall (orchestra, front loges). Face value = $85-; add on a $10.50 venue surcharge + ticketmasterofimages "convenience" charge (they "conveniently" add an extra 8 bucks) and I am paying more for my one ticket as I payed for 2 tickets at Jones Beach and PNC Artscenter. I can't complain too much though; It is the same price as last years Yessymphonic show at RCMH and I lucked out with 6th row dead center.
Are any other venues this pricey??

Universal cost 88.70.
You gotta love (being saracastic), that 10.50 Service charge. What the hell is a convience charge anyway?
I think you had it right Foot Print. They convienently charge you extra. What a load of crap.
Kind of makes us all wish Pearl Jam was more successful with their fight a few years back.

That's with the convinience charges added. How convinient for some &*%$%* to make money.
However, it is easily the best seat I have ever gotten at the Shoreline for any show and that includes at least 20 Dead shows.

Radio City is one of the pricier venues in this area....but you're paying for the marble staircase in "The Grand Foyer" and the cherry wood paneling and the gold leafing and the red velvet seats and the 4,178 pipe Wurlitzer organ.
The Holmdel show and the Camden show each ran me about $65 and I've got 6th row orchestra tix for Camden.

Interesting. My 20th row orchestra seats at Camden cost me $77.00.

Gee that is weird Nightliner...I just checked my confirmation and the total for 2 tix in Section 100 (which is the orchestra) came to $129.60, so actually it was a hair shy of $65/tix.
Must be my lucky day.

The 19.50 convenience charge brought my total for two tickets to $188.60 for the Dallas Show. But the powers that be at Ticketmassa decided to grace me with front row center

Any chance they'll let Rick loose on that Wurlitzer ?

Now that would simply be amazing for CTTE or Awaken, wouldn't it?

If they let Rick loose on the Wurlitzer I hope there is going to be a DVD of that show released for those of us not in NYC ! That would be awesome to hear -- then again it will just be plain awesome to hear him again with Yes !

HI Folks!
I paid $7.50 for my first Yes show in 1977 [& a $3 t-shirt].
God I feel old!
That's 1000 per cent increase for my 2002 tix.
So I guess the t-shirts will be $30, and the loose joints $10!
Where's that time machine when you need it?
It's ok 'cause they're 1000 per cent better!
Looking forward to the tour!
[Hoping for lots of Mag!!!!!!!!!!]
Blessings all,
Shallel

Wow I never even thought about Rick on the Wurlitzer. That would be worth the price of admission for sure!

IF RICK played the Wurlitzer I would just die.I was thinking about this when he was announced for the lineup. If he could play Close To The Edge.I know if he saw this baby he would drool! OH MY LAWD!But Ithink it would be a matter of logistics. If Jon can play the lead in to I Get Up ,I Get Down. But who would play that crescendo from pipe organ to synthesizer?Jon can't handle that.Maybe Brislin? It's a tough question. But man talk about the ultimate YES experience.>>> JOE

I can see that even a $50 or $75 or even a $100 convenience charge would be ok for that! I'd pay it. Lucky You!
I have not seen you before Lerxst. Welcome to the site! Please tell me what your Yesfan name means and what is in your avatar!

I am a longtime Progressive Music fan and my moniker was chosen after many years of hearing -"Hey you look like Alex Lifeson of Rush" who just happens to be my favorite band. The Avatar is the "Man in the Star" from Rush's 2112 album. Lerxst is taken from his nickname. Geddy=Dirk, Neil=Pratt, Alex=Lerxst
I am also a Moderator for the Rush Fan Site www.r-u-s-h.com (Tri-Net).
Many Rush Fans are also Yes fans -- and I had been lurking a bit - prior to the Presale and upon my acquisition of Front Row seats to my second Favorite all-time band - decided to at last make my presence known.
This is a great board and Yes definitely shares the commonality of a large fanship base, along with the Rush Fan base. -- Thanks for the welcome and hope to post more often - This is an exciting summer for music, IMO - Yes, Rush, Dream Theater, Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton and many others all touring I'm just glad to have the opportunity to see the true masters Jon, Alan, Chris, Steve and Rick together again as well as Geddy, Alex and Neil (following the tragedies in Neil's life):D

All the prices seem to be about the varying about $20. either way. Imagine this though, the Stones were selling tickets for an Anaheim stadium show (that's where the Angels play baseball, it seats 60,000.) The cheap seats were $90.00 plus ticket bastard and other charges. Now imagine hearing the worlds greatest garage band playing in a different zip code and paying $90.00. To be honest they would have to pay me $90.00. The amazing thing is the almost sold the place out in 1 day along with a show at Staples center (20,000). Thesae guys are all gazillionaires, they don't need the money and are showing what kind of greedy ----s they are. I'll gladly pay $100.00 to support the hardworking guys in Yes!

I noticed some tix for the Toronto show are priced at $10.70-Canadian!! Isn't that like $7-US? I may be driving up north for that one...
That trip would surely pay for itself! Unbelieveable. Surely there is a misprint.

I believe they are lawn seats; the same type tix @ PNC are 3-4x the Toronto tix. And in Canada, eh, the ticket also gets you a free Molson!!

If at all possible, go to the venue itself and try to buy a ticket. When you do that, you avoid the Ticket Bastard service charge. Sometimes they don't advertise that you can do this (must be some agreement they have with Ticket Bastard)
You also get the advantage of actually being able to pick your seats and see where you are going to be on the seating chart.
This is very helpful and can help you decide whether to spend $70 on a "back of the front section" ticket or $40 on a "front of the back section" ticket.....
Every time I've done this, it's been a money-saver and made the concert-going experience more enjoyable.
I've seen Yes several times over the years, and other than the "Talk" concert, they always put on a stellar show......There's nothing worse than forking over $70 for a lousy show.....

They've pretty much priced me out. If I go, it means at least 3 others and probably 4 would go also. Considering that St. Louis is the closest venue scheduled thus far, that means more expense.
Looks like I'm shut out of this one (and I REALLY want to see Wakeman one more time--this will be a great tour).....
My question is obviously---WHY?? Why do they have to demand SO MUCH for tickets now????
